The steps below will help you to auto-connect to a StrongVPN server in Tunnelblick software when your macOS device starts or restarts. Double-click on the file you downloaded in the previous step and go through the installation process. To connect to OVPN you first need to download Tunnelblick. Note: For increased security and privacy, we recommend enabling the Kill Switch option in Tunnelblick. Once the connection is established, you will see a green-colored pop-up message from Tunnelblick.
When that happens, the original window does not appear (it is only shown once) but the ability to approve the system extension reappears in 'System Preferences' for 30 more minutes. If the user doesn't grant approval within 30 minutes, the ability to approve the system extension disappears and will only reappear after trying to connect the VPN again. (The 'System software developer' in the blocked-by-red area will be 'Jonathan Bullard' for Tunnelblick system extensions.) You should allow Tunnelblick to automatically check for updates on the 'Preferences' panel of Tunnelblick's 'VPN Details' window.
